Dr Ramesh Sabhlok has an illustrious professional career with vast experience of over 40 years in the specialty of Orthodontics.  He is an expert in Multidisciplinary Orthodontic treatment of Adults and Children He has special interest in Growth modification with Functional appliances, Non-Extraction treatment with Micro-implants, Surgical Orthodontics, Temporomandibular Joint Disorders, Sleep Apnea and Cleft Lip and palate Orthodontics. He is also a certified provider of Invisalign and Incognito (Lingual braces). 

Dr. Sabhlok obtained his BDS(Honors) and MDS in Orthodontics from King George’s Medical College, University of Lucknow, India and Certificate in Orthodontics from School of Dentistry, University of Louisiana, New Orleans, USA. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (FDS RCS), Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Glasgow (FDS RCPS), Diplomate of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (M.ORTH RCS) and also a Diplomate of the Indian Board of Orthodontics. 

He was awarded WHO fellowship to USA for Advanced Training in Orthodontics at the School of Dentistry, University of Louisiana, New Orleans, School of Dentistry University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and College of Dentistry, University of Illinois, Chicago. He had advanced training in Orthodontics at the University of Oklahoma, USA and Advanced training in Surgical Orthodontics with Dr. William Arnett at the Centre of Corrective Jaw surgery, Santa Barbara, California, USA.

Dr. Sabhlok held senior teaching and clinical positions in Middle-east and India for last four decades. He had been associated with prestigious institutions like Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Chandigarh in India. He was pioneer in establishing and developing the specialty of Orthodontics in Dubai Health Authority, Government of Dubai in 1991 and remained as Consultant Orthodontist for two decades with Dubai Health Authority. Presently he is in exclusive Orthodontic practice in Dubai since September 2010. He was also visiting Professor at the University of Manipal in India from 2008 till 2015. 

Dr. Sabhlok has presented several Lectures, Seminars, Conducted Courses, Symposiums and Workshops as Keynote speaker in various International and National Orthodontic conferences, Postgraduate Programs and Societies worldwide. He had been a keynote speaker at the prestigious Annual Sessions of the American Association of Orthodontists for last several years. He has been recognized and honoured for his contributions and achievements by several notable institutions and Orthodontic Societies worldwide. 

He has many publications to his credit in prestigious Orthodontic Journal. He is International Consultant Editor of the Journal of Indian Orthodontic Society. He has co-authored a book titled “Twin Block Functional Therapy: Applications in Dentofacial Orthopedics” with Dr. William Clark in 2015 and published a manual on MBT treatment Mechanics in 2007. 

He is an active member of many International Orthodontic and Dental Organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, Fellow of the American College Of Dentists, Fellow of the International College of Dentists and Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International. He is the recipient several awards and honors from several Orthodontic Societies worldwide. He was pioneer in establishing Emirates Orthodontic Society.
